ECOWAS TRACES OF FREINDSHIP AMONG SUB-REGIONS

The sub-regions of Africa which is known as ECOWAS has been described as the immediate cause which influenced amalgamation of the Union and the birth of its secretariat in Abuja is an onus to the formation.

In as much as we are saddled with economic emancipation of our Land, the artificial barriers should not be ignored if Africans will arrive at the Promised Land.

The faces of Boko Haram recklessness, usurpation of Chibok girls is a bane to the Africa sub – region who should have gathered momentum and forcibly throw away the insurgents from her region.

Ipsofacto, Boko Haram has ISIS sponsors, yet the Mali-sponsors and fighters are equipped with modern day dangerous weapons but thanks to God, they do not used atomic energy, gas Nuclear power to wipe away Africans residents in Nigeria. Much as Cameroon, Niger, Chad, and Burkina-Faso are against the Boko Haram in human treatment and war-like under the guise of Islamic propagators the Nigeria government sought assistance from America, Britain, French, in a bid to shame the deadly insurgent in our midst.

Furthermore, Ecowas and her members must unite to crush any aggressors to the sub-region if we are to achieve economic growth. The Europe influenced on France, Germany, Netherland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Turkey has economic emancipation such that their national currencies are the dictators of current world-foreign stock exchange markets.

Nevertheless, Nigeria is working on a theory of Buy Home made products instead of reliance on Europe and America as source of economic growth. In same vein, we have found a way forward in Ecowas through the formation of Ecowas currency which is yet to come into use, but at the corner of our economic growth lies self-efforts on cash crops which hitherto will bring good economy.

Although oil is now found in Ghana, and Niger, yet with this discovery, could Africa emerge victorious without self-reliance on Europe products. Also, Europe may dislike buying our oil then the problems of economic supports among Ecowas should be the talk about among our foreign partners aimed at influencing Ecowas monetary economy.

In summation, this news analysis is a pointer to our economic growth as sub-continent, and reliance on home products will hitherto yield foreign reserves and economic control, so wake up Ecowas, and promote your products to get better living standard for our people.
