In a Country characterized by unabated high cost of publishing coupled with poor reading culture, there is every cause to celebrate five years of debut in the publishing industry.

Moreso, is the fact that Integrity International is a Magazine with a difference in its role as watchdog of the society. For Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike that have identified with our Mission Statement in the last five years, we say a big Thank you. Your identification is a clear demonstration of national consciousness and patriotism in nation-building.

However, a worrisome development is that Nigeria, the most populous Black nation in the world, is walloping along because of dearth of leaders of Integrity in governance in particular and national life in general.

This is without any prejudice that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, is today globally acclaimed as a Man of Integrity. We believe that Nigeria should rise up to the challenge of building an orderly society anchored on fostering and inculcating the virtues of integrity at all levels of the society.

As past recipients of Global Leader of Integrity Merit Award (GLIMA) and African Leader of Integrity Merit Award (ALIMA) assemble in Abuja, 16th of July 2016, for the inauguration of Integrity Forum Initiative (IFI), a point must have been made.

We salute all the Integrity Ambassadors. Suffice it to say that the Profiles of Integrity Ambassadors captured on the pages of this Special Anniversary Edition is just a random sample of nearly 300 Awardees across West African Sub-region and beyond in the last five years.

In the midst of daunting but surmountable Economic, Social, Security and Infrastructural challenges confronting Nigeria, Integrity International is totally in collaboration with all stakeholders committed to consolidating the gains so far made in propagating the essence of institutionalizing Integrity leadership in the public and corporate governance in Nigeria, nay Africa.

The Special Anniversary Edition concludes with fascinating development in Europe, the historic June 2016 Referendum in the United Kingdom UK, that clears the Coast for Britain to withdraw her membership of the European Union EU; unarguably the foremost Economic Community, globally.
