Integrity International is delighted to witness the unfolding democratic developments in several parts of the world that can either brighten or deem concerted efforts to world peace. This is the main reason our cover story of this edition is aptly titled “New Partnership for World Peace: Challenges and Promises”. The immerging actors in this direction are the first elected Female Secretary-General of the United-Nations; the President-elect of the United States, both will be assuming office on January 2017, and the second Female Prime Minister of Britain. Africa is not left behind the new partnership for world peace and the triumph of democracy. The defeat of incumbent President of the Gambia by the opposition party is another boost for democratic rule in the African continent.
